I created banner ads to display in Purina newsletters for Essentials PetCare. While the coral color is an accent color for the brand, I chose to use it as the dominant color in these designs to draw emphasis to the ads against all other content displaying in the newsletters. The primary dark blue was chosen to complement the Walmart logo and give a cohesive look to the rest of the design and brand.
I chose photos that not only included on-brand colors, but also hints of warm tones in the animals’ fur to tie in the bright coral and bring cohesion to the design as a whole.
